Three Rivers Teacher Quality Partnership Grant

In collaboration with Eastern New Mexico University, Bloomfield Public Schools, Central Consolidated Schools, Clovis Municipal Schools, Cuba Independent Schools, Farmington Municipal Schools, and Taos Municipal Schools the Foundation implements this federal Teacher Quality Partnership grant. The award was received October 1, 2018 to provide residency program opportunities to individuals pursuing teaching careers in Special Education, Secondary Math, or Secondary Science.

The project will provide a living wage salary, a one-year residency placement, coaching and mentoring while the participant completes a Master of Secondary Education at Eastern New Mexico University.

The Three Rivers Teacher Quality Partnership (3RIVTQP) funds special education teacher residencies and secondary science or math teacher residencies in the following school districts:

  • Bloomfield Public Schools,
  • Central Consolidated Schools,
  • Clovis Municipal Schools,
  • Cuba Independent Schools,
  • Farmington Municipal Schools, and
  • Taos Municipal Schools.
